Small Theatre Lighting on a Budget

Planning a lighting upgrade but unsure where the money should go? This guide lays out three realistic gear tiers for small theatres, at about $2,000, $7,500, and $20,000. For each, you'll see what to buy first, why it matters, and how to grow over time. The included spreadsheet lists every item with low and high price estimates, a contingency line, and an automatic check against your target, so you can swap items and instantly see the impact. Prices are estimates to help you plan, not quotes. It's a clear, honest roadmap for boards, directors, and volunteers making every dollar count.
